Phil & Jill got married on 30th October 2010 on a beautiful sunny autumn day with the ceremony & the reception both being held at The Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel, Salisbury, Wiltshire. The theme of their wedding was James Bond with the colour scheme of black & white
The Groom and all the male guests were all dressed in Tuxedos supplied by Chas H. Baker of Salisbury, Wiltshire and the ladies wore Evening or Cocktail dresses. The gorgeous bride wore a stunning white wedding dress with black diamante beads & black jacket supplied by The Organza Room, Amesbury, Wiltshire
Phil’s wedding gift to Jill was an Algerian Love Knot similar to the one worn by Vesper Lynd in the James Bond film Casino Royale designed by Elinor Cambray.
The Bride carried a modern shower bouquet with white phalaenopsis ochid white Akito roses, Diamante Butterflies, Black bear grass and beading, the Matron of Honour carried a posy with the same flowers as the Bride. The two young bridesmaids carried small handtied bouquets with Gypsophila and white Akito roses.
The Bride Groom, Best man, Father of the Bride, Ushers and page boy all wore Phalaenopsis Orcid buttonholes, with all the other guests wearing White Akito buttonholes.
The table arrangements were large black Martini glasses filled with white Phalaenopsis Orchids, white Anthuriums, white Euphorbia, ,large black and silver Butterflies, hanging crystals with lights intertwined in amongst the flowers with the lights being illuminated for the evening party. On the tables were black and white chocolate dice, crystals and a reproduced James Bond film posters featuring the Bride and Groom in 007 style, these were taken by Mark Fell Photography at his studio in Tidworth, Wiltshire. Mark Fell was the official wedding photographer.
The large arrangement on the card and present table featured a head of Baron Samedi from he James Bond film Live and Let Die featuring white Anthuriums, white Euphorbia, white Akito roses, black Bear Grass along with replica snakes, skulls and spiders
The arrangement on the ceremony table consisted of white Phalaenopsis Orchids, white Anthuriums, white Euphorbia, white Akito, black looped bear grass and black butterflies; on either side on the window sill were large black glass vases with black twigs, white butterflies intertwined in amongst the twigs and butterflies with the lights.
