About Shirley Snells Florist

Opened in 1969, Shirley Snells Florist is one of the longest established florists in Salisbury. Current owners, Jill Abbott and Phil Jolliffe bought the shop in June 2006 and have spent the past 12 months improving and enhancing all areas of the business.

Jill was manager for four years before she and Phil bought the shop. She has 30 years’ experience in floristry and simply loves working with flowers and keeps up to date with the latest trends. She likes a challenge: “I work to clients’ wishes and am keen to give them exactly what they want. I listen to them and try to interpret their design ideas – the more unique the better!”

Phil’s background is in retail, so the combination of their skills should enable them to develop this already thriving business.

We have daily deliveries of fresh flowers and plants from England, Holland, Colombia, Africa and Thailand which enables us to adapt to seasonal changes and offer a wide range of stock.

Phil and Jill look forward to continuing the success of Salisbury’s leading independent florist long into the future.
